Mariah Carey scores her 18th No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 this week as "Touch My Body" rockets 15-1. Download sales of 286,000 units, according to Nielsen SoundScan, top the previous record set by Rihanna's "Umbrella," which shifted 277,000 last June.Carey surpasses Elvis Presley for second place on the all-time Hot 100 No. 1 tally; only the Beatles, with 20, have more. "Touch My Body" knocks last week's chart-topper, Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love," down to No. 4.
Usher's "Love in This Club" featuring Young Jeezy holds at No. 2, while, as reported yesterday, Madonna's "4 Minutes" featuring Justin Timberlake explodes 68-3, fueled by download sales of 217,000 copies.
Jordin Sparks' "No Air" featuring Chris Brown inches up 6-5 on the Hot 100, and Ray J & Yung Berg's "Sexy Can I" slips 3-6. Lil Wayne's "Lollipop" is the fastest growing track at radio, resulting in a 9-7 increase.Chris Brown's "With You" drops 4-8, Sara Bareilles' "Love Song" falls 5-9 and Flo Rida's "Low" featuring T-Pain is down 7-10 to round out the top tier.
Debut The Hot 100's top debut this week comes from Fall Out Boy's cover of Michael Jackson's "Beat It" at No. 22.
